Good, Inexpensive breakfast during the weekdays. Really interesting tasty brunches on weekends. The weekend menu rotates, as does the lunch menu (sandwiches, salads, etc.) Weekends are usually crowded. It’s a great place to go with kids - there’s room for strollers and for kids to roam around outside. Occasionally they have fancy multicourse meals in the evenings that are worth making the reservations for. Usually they are not open in the evenings.

No complaints about the food, it's fairly great. The atmosphere is unfortunately tainted by the obnoxious stank of some angsty self-important middle managing zealot. Since this is an online review, let's just put things in terms of Hitler. Specifically, it's as if the ghost of Adolf, made passive aggressive and pedantic over the years of distasteful memes, is being channeled through poster board and bubble letters. Clearly the case, as if a single one of the dozen signs posted in the dining room should even matter to a normal person.

The bun on the burger was great. The veggies were fresh. The size of the burger was awesome, not huge like most places. However, I'm a very picky burger person. I can only eat a burger made with good quality beef cooked RARE. Unfortunately, they cooked my burger waaaay to long. It was dry AF and medium well. I took two bites and left it. Disappointed.

As much as I love eating here, they no longer allow our kids to use the play area or "run around" playing with other children. The staff is untrained and VERY rude, and since my food order got lost 3 out of the last 4 times we ate there, maybe I should start to think it's just me personally that has this experience and someone there has a grudge? Anyway, the attitude of the staff and the anti-family environment is why we can't go back there anymore.

Burns St. Bistro has never disappointed. Don't be afraid to try their seemingly daily specials. Local produce making delicious local food. Definitely a must eat in Missoula and in Montana.
