Very comfortable bar connected to a peaceful and cozy hotel. Nice place to go after a long time on the road.

Great huge screen TV to watch my Broncos destroy the Cowboys! Good Rueben to go with it. Excellent prices too. Only downside was being outnumbered by Cowboys fans, but as much as I hate to admit it, even they were friendly.
We were at this bar all night Saturday celebrating a birthday and spending a lot of money. We were there until close. Mind you we come here all the time for dinner as well. We decided to book a room there for the night and didn’t want to drive home. After checkout, we came back down to the bar the to catch half of a football game before we left. It was pretty mellow in the bar on a late Sunday morning and we were quiet, minding our business, checking out some football scores. After only being there 10 mins, we were told by bar staff that we needed to leave if we didn’t order anything. I didn’t recognize him as a waiter I’ve had there before so I explained to him how much money we already spent there the previous night and how I’m frequent paying customer. Well he just shrugged it off and said it’s policy you order something or you need to leave. I was appalled. So we ordered something to follow their rules. But Really going to kick us out after all the money we already spent there the night previously? Big disappointment. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere from now on.
Excellent food. The Elk Burger is great, and the home made potatoes salad looks as good as it tastes.
