Recently let a child molester off with probation. A 5 year old girl was sexually assaulted multiple times and no jail time. How is that possible. Nothing honorable about OLD Dusty.

Dusty is rusty. Agonizing jury selection process. Thought he was funny. Felt it necessary to explain his eye condition as he sat down. Most people weren't even close enough to notice the "bags" under his eyes. Large pool of prospective jurors the day I had to appear; when there were enough people chosen (with alternates included) he apparently didn't recognize that a lot of people were very anxious to leave and go back to work. Must like the sound of his own voice. Kept us waiting while he droned on about things only the people on the jury would have to know. Didn't send us away until after we all had to sit and listen to him. One of the most uncomfortable court rooms I've ever endured. Historic court room is interesting - but honestly, the chairs must have come from a torture chamber! History is one thing, but making people feel comfortable should be a priority. Jury duty is sacrifice enough without offering citizens wooden chairs that should be piled high and burned.

Your sentencing in the recent molestation case was completely disgusting. As a mother of a five year old girl, I can say freely that this is in NO WAY justice. How could anyone in the world find it suitable to cut his sentencing so low? I wonder if you have even thought about this family, or the effect this sentence will have on the victim? He ruined her youth, but will be allowed to walk the same city streets as her? How dare you. And as for his statement, "It's not her fault, it's 100 percent my fault," of course it's his fault! That goes without saying. He admitted to it, it happened multiple times, and would have continued to happen, had the acts not been discovered. He has no remorse, he simply got caught. He deserves so much more than the maximum, but five years of possible community placed time is a slap in the face to the entire community. I hope you the rest of the judges that hand out these ridiculously short sentences are forever removed from your positions. If this continues to happen, the community will speak, we will be noticed, and we are prepared to do whatever it takes to rid our communities of these injustices, and the people, such as yourself, that allow these people to go free.
