The Fort Missoula Museum is on the grounds and is another fun, family friendly activity.
One of the top notch features of the Fort Missoula Regional Park is the playground area for kids that aren't playing in the tournament. Well maintained and clean, when my kids were younger they could have spent all day at the playground.
Field is great. Parking is pretty awful. Lots are very narrow and dangerous. They also fill fast and your forced to park in the dirt.

We just spent 3 days there for the Montana State HS Soccer Tournament. Located on the west side of Missoula, Montana this is a great soccer park. Maybe the best in the state.
The crown jewel of the soccer facility is the artificial turf full sized, lighted soccer pitch, located adjacent to the pavilion area. With bleachers and a lighted scoreboard it is also utilized for training and practice. The natural turf fields are well maintained and house leagues for players of all ages and skill levels. From the mighty mites to coed adult recreation leagues there is something here for any age soccer player.
There is lots of free parking and a center pavilion area with a nice clean indoor bathroom facility, including family bathrooms. The pavilion has lots of covered picnic tables for family picnics or getting out of the notoriously fickle Montana weather.
Wonderful open space with beautiful buildings for lots of different activities and occasions.
