WARNING I'd give it a 0.5 star or even non due to the scamming. When they measured my package the lady put her arm weight to add extra weight making the price go up by $5. I mean come on! Scamming a broke college student? That's the worst you could do... Highly dissapointed! Watchout guys Or this could happen to you too!
It's a post office. But the service has always been fast, friendly and helpful
The rudeness of the employees at Kent street is becoming more frequent. Getting tired of the hassle of going on there. Last time I went in I was told my package would be inspected if I wasn't telling the truth about what was in it. There's absolutely no reason to say that to a customer, because you're insinuating that they are not being truthful. Very rude. Today they refused to ship my package because I had taken a used flat rate box and wrapped it in butcher paper with a new address on it. I just wanted to send it regular parcel post. They refused and said you can not reuse USPS boxes. Perfect example of government waste.
Stand-in post master took my information as I have had mail missing for months and had 2 pages of missing mail. She took my information and no one has ever contacted me. Prior to this time, I left voice messages on 2 separate occasions on the telephone numbers I had for the previous post master that went unreturned. I still have missing mail even after signing up for Informed Delivery.
Have had a weeks worth of mail and several packages diverted because a neighbor parked NEAR a bank of mailboxes. The lazy driver couldn't walk six feet to actually do their job. It's absolutely shameful. With so many people needing jobs, people like this should be fired.
