Kettlehouse is one of the big breweries in Missoula, and it's hard not to appreciate them. Fan of light beers? Fresh Bongwater is your jam. Prefer the darker side of things? Coldsmoke is a beloved beer that ale aficionado's will respect immediately. Somewhere in between? Find yourself a Double Haul IPA and find the gold standard that almost all other IPA's strive for.
A really neat atmosphere, and probably the best couple of beers in town, if not the best brewery. Cold smoke is always in style, but fresh bongwater is another favorite. Lots to test and pick from with a fun and friendly staff. Great place to hang out with friends and catch up.
Take all that, and wrap it around a wonderful bar scene with friendly staff and many other ales, on top of alterations to their most popular brews and a NEW cask popped every Tuesday. Whether you're a veteran of hops, or a beginner to the brew scene, this is an excellent place to stop in with friendly folk in a friendly city.
Best beer in Missoula! The original south-side location is more authentic- what you'd expect an old school brewery to be. South-side also has gluten-free beer that tastes like actual beer!

Tried the Cold Smoke Scotch Ale in NE Montana. (Scobey). I travel all over the world and try beer wherever I go and have to say this is one of the best beers that I have ever had! And I have had hundreds of different beers from Europe to Asia to the Americas. Now I need to find some in cans that I can take home to Canada.
