We had a pane of glass break on a new window the day we were going to set it. Took it over to Garden City Paint and Glass where they cleanly and quickly replaced the pane. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate / work with. I definitely will be going back when I pick out paint!
I dropped off a piece of smoked, beveled glass that had an etched groove down on side and on the top and I wanted it cut down to fit into an end table. I was told that it would be no problem and I could pick it up the next day and it would only cost $10.00. Mike called the next day and told me that when he cut the glass it shattered into a thousand pieces because it was tempered glass. He told me that he had another piece of regular smoked glass that he would sell me for $20.00. I took my matching piece of glass from same entertainment center to a competitor and they were able to cut it with no problems.......hum. I have come away from this feeling alittle smoked.
Garden City Paint & Glass has excellent customer service and they are extremely professional and competitively priced. They did an amazing job of installing custom mirrors and intricate shower doors on the house I built. I will be using them again in the future.
I wanted glass shower doors in a "french door" style that would not require a metal pole across the top. After being told by several other local dealers that this would be impossible; garden city was able to install exactly what I was asking for and they are beautiful. They used side channels to mount the glass and hinged the doors off the mounted piece. Everyone that comes to my house compliments these doors.
I dropped a window with a broken pane of glass off at Garden City Paint & Glass on a Monday afternoon a few weeks ago. I asked the employee at the front counter if they could have it done by Friday and he said they would try but it might be early next week. I called on Friday and they told me it wouldn't be until Tuesday and that they would call me to let me know then. Tuesday came and they didn't call, so I called them right before the end of the day. They told me they screwed something up with me window and they would have it done Wednesday or Thursday. Friday morning came and I called them and it wasn't done, but they assured me it would be done in an hour. I showed up in an hour and it wasn't done and they said it would be another hour. I called in another hour and they said it would be at least 45 more minutes. They didn't even do anything to make this bad situation right. I can't stand a company like this.
