She asked me as I followed to the chair what kind of hairline I would like (first time) and sat me down. As she buzzed over my hair, she pushed very hard and it hurt. She was rubbing the clipper against my head like she was shearing an insensitive sheep. She buzzed over my ear twice, prompting me to have to move my own ear aside. She then asked me again what kind of hairline I would like (second time) and then promptly forgot. She asked me the requisite questions that I always get asked by hairdressers, "What do you do for work?" I responded, and she said, "Oh, do you just hate that?"
My only issue is I hate not being able to schedule by phone. Scheduling online is a pain in the ass and even though my appointment was scheduled for a certain time, the salon showed the time slot as a later time in the day than I scheduled and I had to reschedule. It's not a good system. Because of this factor only, I am giving you 3.5 stars...well, 4 because there is no3.5, lol.
I have gone to this Great Clips location a few other times, and usually the haircuts are acceptable. This one was savage.
I'll never go back to this location. Warning to the wise: you really do get what you pay for. If you want a cheap, dissatisfying haircut, go here.
AWFUL! Told my 13 year old boy , "you have to train your hair"... "you will always see lines and can't fade dark hair". So he looked like he came out of a bad 80s music video. Another stylist says, "do either of you have Midol, I'm having the worst period." The third stylist falls asleep in her chair and when she's asked if she's asleep by her coworker she states, "I'm meditating"
She found my name after asking for my phone number, and said my name a few different ways, all incorrect. I told her how I pronounce it. She again said it wrong to clarify, and walked away.
The woman who cut my hair must have been new? A beginner?
Probably the fastest cut I've ever received. They interpreted my requests great. I was in and out quickly. Granted, there was hardly anyone else there.
You guys are getting a bad rap from a lot of people. I've only been there once so far but I have gone to another location on Reserve a time or two and (so far) I have never had a bad experience. Shawna did a great job on my hair. Staff is pleasant and professional. The location is clean.
She then got down to my hairline, and asked a third time what kind I would like. She got it right this time, after I told her again.
Beverly is my go to gal, love this place!! Always friendly always the pros!
