Needed a 55 gallon tote! Only one person certified to run a forklift! Waited 20 minutes to even get acknowledged, left without tote and pissed off! Never shop here!
Shop on line first. Figure out what you need and where it's located. Otherwise you'll wander around forever wondering. Personnel are very helpful.
I went to Pierce Flooring in Missoula MT for a tile and installation estimate. After dealing with the "typical" sales agent, I decided to go my own route and purchased the tile from Home Depot for 1/2 of the cost for the same tile. They only recommended their own tile installation contractors. I did my research and found a tile contractor through Google for 1/3 of the tile installation cost. Thank you, Home Depot! You saved me allot of money!
Do NOT chose Home Depot for a Floor Install. Every employee they let enter my house ranged from reckless and irresponsible to late and unprofessional. On the phone when you ran my credit card I was told someone would schedule my job within 5 days. 3 weeks later, I was still calling you guys trying to get my job scheduled. Your installer did not show up on time, didn't call to tell me he'd be late, couldn't come back the second day he was scheduled to finish the job and after he did come back--he did the work wrong. The WHOLE TIME Home Depot has failed at communicating. And now the job is still not done right--and your people continue to tell me someone will call me to schedule to fix it. No one has called, just like every other time you said they would. Instead, I've got frayed carpet edges that aren't covered by trim, a baseboard you attempted to glue on, but is instead flapping haphazardly, and an area of my floor that now spring-bounces when I step on this. Please, people, save your money and time and go elsewhere.
