At St. Pat's she was able to use the bathroom according to her bodies natural schedule and ask for help accordingly. Community puts everyone on a set schedule using meds that effectively regulate you for a schedule that's convenient for them.

Community Rehab has an expected turnaround time of your progression in order to "stay in the program", as they told us. They also have a set way that they take care of patient Sorry, you're here to help us. Not everyone regains their mobility at the same place. It's your job to work around your patient's ability and pain threshold, not for them to conform to your schedule and regimin. Especially not when your nurses try to move her too much when her back was still healing, cause a small reinjury.

Long and short of it is, some friendly staff, absurd program.

Thanks Community Medical Center, for almost torturing me to death, but I lived to tell the tale anyway ;)

Have not been impressed with the Inpatient Rehab facility here. While the building is neat and clean with some good rehab pools and equipment rooms, it feels understaffed and like no one pays a ton of attention to it.

The 3 AM INQUISITION is what you'll get here. And lucky to escape with your life! These people are total monsters. Please, for the love of God do not go there go downtown or to Spokane otherwise they might just finish you off but much more painfully.

When we asked some of the nurses about what the actual injury diagnosis was, they said they didn't know one way or another; and one had said that the Dr had listed complete sever, while we were told only partial! Get your stories straight, doctor's - they're not at all similar!

Then when it came time to move her to the next step care facility, Community never put in the insurance paperwork they were supposed to have done weeks beforehand!

The living room/common area is nice. Has comfy couches for anyone younger, but any older patients would have trouble getting off them. Plenty of tables for visitors, and a dedicated puzzle table. Plus computers and a Wii hooked up to the TV.

I was having a really bad period and went to the ER and was seen by a doctor within 20 minutes. I couldn't stand completely upright because of the pain. I couldn't even swallow without dry heaving. They discovered via ultrasound that I had several non-cancerous fibroid tumors that were making me severely anemic. My only complaint about the ER was that they didn't give me any pain medication prescription. Advil didn't do anything for me. I had to have surgery to remove them and I will have to have c-sections for all my babies. Community will be my first choice for this.

My Mom was admitted there after her accident, and the Doctors did not make us feel hopeful at all. They pretty much contradicted the diagnosis that St. Pat's had given, didn't bother working with her newly regained leg sensations, and effectively completely undid any personal progress she had made while in the ICU.

I had my baby at Community Hospital and tbe staff was incredible, they are super attentive and accommodating, I would recommend coming here for you health care needs! Thank you Community Hospital!

I ended up walking out and refusing service after the nasty nurses and sadist doctor belittled, judged, and patronized the hell out of me the entire time. Not once helping me with even a cup of water. Instead, the nurse purposely left the blood pressure tube on eventually turning my arm numb and hurting like hell before I had to rip it off myself. When the EKG showed heart attack like spikes in my rate the nurse asked if it was a concern the doctor said no erase that it's just because the patient isn't being cooperative. They basically would not be happy till I make a forced false confession of using crack . Can you say INQUISITION? No I will not admit to being a drug addict to validate your disgusting prejudices and ignorance. I quickly got up and left (in severe pain still and dehydrated mind you from being roofied) while I was leaving I went to the public restroom in the lobby and attempt to finally gulp any bit of water I could as there were no water fountains in sight. IMMEDIATELY a male nurse raced in after me and dragged me out and said I would not be able to use the facilities. Then he had me escorted out by security. I had not threatened or been disorderly once. The security guard told me I could walk two miles to the nearest gas station if I was "that thirsty" - so I did.... in my bathrobe and slippers, limping and grasping for air in the worst pain of my life at 3:30 in the morning.

A little frustrated with their billing department. They called me, but didn't leave a message even though they had a legit inquiry. Then I googled the number to find out it's the billing department, so I call them back. The lady talked so fast I felt like I was being rushed off the phone, I got all my questions answered finally, but had to say wait, wait, wait!! So she wouldn't rush me off. Felt like she was being timed and her calls were only supposed to take 5 minutes or less. I'm sure that's coming from above, but frustrating to say the least accounts and bills are more complicated then that and deserve time for the reciepent to understand and grasp.

Usually you can enter a physicians office of any kind and just feel the medical knowledge in the air. This place has none of that. If the nurses at the station look at you at all, it's almost judgingly and makes you feel awkward like you're not supposed to be in there. I always visit after 4pm, and they always seem like they're trying hard not to acknowledge you. And it's not because they're engrossed in work - they're on their phones or blowing part you in the hall like you're encroaching on their turf.
