Dan is awesome. Runs a small but efficient shop, he's a wealth of information, and he will bend over backwards to accommodate the customers needs. If you have saltwater fishtank needs in Missoula make sure and support this local shop!
I ordered a vacuum from Dan, and when I picked it up, I mentioned that a tank I'd bought at PetSmart August 2016 had leaked, flooding my living room and nearly killing my fish. He told me to contact the manufacturer (Top Fin), that it was no doubt under warranty. I told him I had thrown the tank away, but he advised me to call anyway. I did. Turned out that the tank would have had a warranty, had I not thrown it away. Throwing it away constituted a "transfer of ownership," voiding the warranty. I also learned that the tank failure probably stemmed from an overweight of sand, which compromised the integrity of the tank over time. So I learned information that I could share here, my fish are great in their new tank, and I can't thank Dan enough for his helpfulness. I'll never shop at PetSmart again.

I have to drive there from Helena since this is the closest saltwater shop that isn't Petco. Dan sold me a pistol shrimp and goby pair, some live rock, and an anemone. Awesome place that needs support. It's hard to keep a business like this above water, no pun intended. Friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommended.
