I am disgusted with how unprofessional this bussiness is. I made an appointment via phone a couple weeks ago. I showed up for my appointment on Monday to find that no one was even in the shop. I waited for an hour and came back 3 times afterwards to see if anyone would come in but no one ever showed. I tried calling multiple times the next week and no one ever called me back. I literally wasted 2 hours of driving to and from Missoula to be stood up. I can't believe they never even had the decency to call me and give me an excuse or explanation.
Dana did a Brazillian Blowout on my hair today and I could not be happier! I have soft, silky straight hair now! And it lasts 12 weeks! I went in to Shear Art Salon to get my hair cut and to receive a Brazilian Blowout split end treatment. Rachel was my stylist and she did an amazing job! She listened to what I wanted and left me with the perfect haircut. She's incredibly friendly and professional and made my entire experience fantastic. I will definitely be going back!
I’m am highly disappointed in my cut. I have never been sad about a cut, good or bad. But after today....it’s a straight cut “looks like a cleopatra cut” said my stylist. I requested a dramatic angled cut.....then the bangs. They look cute, but I asked for her to add a bit more for them to be thicker, she wouldn’t because she said they looked good the way they were. I requested her to make the supposed angle more dramatic so I could see it, she trimmed the back. After multiple requests to have it corrected, I just gave up. It’s cute, but not even close to what I asked for and the picture she looked at for literally 2 seconds.
I went to this salon over a year ago looking to get a root touch-up. I had originally heard great things about this place so I was excited get my hair done. When I got there I was sat down and the hair stylist said that she didn't care how her hair turns out when she does it. I was reluctant to proceed but I thought I would give her a chance. The whole process ended up taking 2 plus hours and consisted of her bleaching the ends my hair (which didn't need to be colored) and bleaching a patch of hair on my scalp. She left the bleach on scalp in for at least an hour before finally washing it out. After my hair was dried (she didn't bother to style it) it looked pretty bad. I decided not to complain because I figured it would fade out over time. Over a few months following the appointment I noticed that my scalp was severely burned. My hair fell out at the site of the overtreated patch. My hair became very thin and the ends of my hair lost their curl and broke easily. It got so bad that I was forced to cut my hair very short. Over a year and a half later I am still having problems with my hair. I haven't gotten it colored since I visited this salon because I am scared it would do additional damage. I don't remember the stylist's name and I'm sure the other women there do a good job, but I really wouldn't risk it. I will never go back here as long as I'm in Missoula. You're better off going somewhere else.
Got home to find my bangs were not as cute as I thought. Half completely covered my left eye and the other half did who knows what. I’m so confused as to what this girl was thinking. My mom’s cut was better but not even close to the a-line she asked for.
