We have nothing but good to say about our experience with Northwest Neurofeedback. Dr Velin saw our son, gave us some ADD treatment options, and allowed us to select the best care as we saw fit. Although it was not cheap, we are so glad that we chose neurofeedback as the primary treatment. Our son did his treatments, also had a good experience, and is now only continuing to excell. His teachers, classmates,and others have all noticed his change (better grades, less disruptive, better attitude) and growth. The staff were always courteous and caring. Thank you so much.
Dr. Velin is very helpful with diagnosis and treatment options. Being medication sensitive, the alternative therapies including neurofeedback have been very helpful. I am functioning like I have never before and am in a profession I could only have dreamed of prior to seeing the good doctor. My mood, motivation and focus are brighter. Mostly I am learning to manage the illness. I am thankful to Dr. Velin and the team from Northwest Neurofeedback for their expertise, professionalism, ethics and genuine heartfelt care. Northwest Neurofeedback is very unprofessional, they canceled two appointments in a row and gave only an hours notice. This would not have been too big of a deal except for the fact that we do not live in town and have to drive about five hours each time we need to go to an appointment. They were rude and not willing to work with us, even though we were already halfway to the appointments, when they canceled. Then Norwest Neurofeedback threatened to not treat us anymore when we are disgruntled with their business practices. Will definitely be reporting them to the better business bureau.
