I moved to Missoula about 3 years ago looking for a new massage therapist since I still struggle with a lot of neck and back pain from previous car accidents. I found Maril, and she is absolutely the BEST in town!! She is personable, friendly and is very talented in massage. She uses hot towels, great music and her massage studio is very relaxing. I went to her while I was pregnant, and she was excellent; and again after the baby came, and she worked out my "cemented" tight muscles in my back and neck. We are so lucky to have such a skilled massage therapist in Missoula. I highly recommend her to all of my friends!
The only place in Missoula to get the best massage therapy EVER! Maril always takes care of every pain problem I've had, when I can get in to see her. My only problem is I live out of town and don't get to make an appointment near enough.
I also want to comment on the fact that she's great with all ages. I gave my family a body treat day and all 4 of us (ages 9, 12, 41 & 45) had massages that were individually appropriate for all of us. She makes kids feel comfortable and mine wish they could go much more often! Maril is such a huge advocate of caring for your body long term as a way of life. I applaud her and her great business that is such a compliment to our community!

I got the best one-hour deep tissue massage of my life from Maril. The space she has set up is absolutely lovely and soothing; just stepping in I felt immediately relaxed. She checked in with me when approaching spots of tension, and made sure that I was breathing well and letting my muscles soften so that she could target specific areas on my legs, back, neck, and jaw. Loosened me up BIG TIME after some snowboard-related whiplash and muscle tensions and inspired me to treat my body a bit more carefully. She is a healer and a nurturer and you will immediately feel the positive effects of her warm humanity and trained touch. Maril is both a fantastic masseuse and a fantastic human- your body will feel good after she works with you and your heart will feel good supporting her business.
Maril is intense, sensitive, funny, calming, super caring, always inquiring, very aware and tuned in and all around a beautiful person. Her massages are extremely healing and she does wonderful knowing your body from massage to massage. She is firm, but with a gentle spirit. She pushes you to go beyond where your mind might think your body's limits are, asking for trust from me to her. This is really good stuff!
