My 19 year old son, going to the U to become a police officer, took is Dodge Ram in for repairs. Lithia called him after a couple of days to inform him that a new water pump was needed at a cost of $618.00. The cost for the pump alone was $400.00. I priced a lifetime warranty pump at Auto Zone for $94.00. After the pump was installed the truck still did not run. They installed a new battery, and charged him $130.00 for installation only. Any worthy mechanic can install a battery in less than 1/2 hour. The problem was still not solved. Eventually the problem was discovered and was hopefully repaired at a cost of $273.00. So all together my son was charged $1271.00 for a minor repair. The water pump had no leak and did not need to be replaced. We have raised our son to be honest and trustworthy. His experience with this dealership has been the opposite of those beliefs. Lithia was not willing to work with him and took his money with a smile. We will now see how the city Attorney and Better Business wants to handle the situation. I asked for the original water pump back and I am getting it professionally tested. I can assure Lithia that they have not heard the last of me.

For the last 90,000 miles I have had my 2007 jeep serviced at Karl Tyler Chevrolet express lube and never had a problem. I get regular oil changes 3-4000 miles. Never have they had to add fluid. Because I own a jeep express lube cannot check transmission fluid so I had Missoula Lithia service it. I went to work for 6 weeks while jeep Sat parked and when I returned home I noticed oil under the engine. I looked under the hood and noticed a lot of oil spray around filter so when I grabbed filter it was hand tight. I immediately called Lithia and they said bring it in and they will check it over. So before I brought it to them I got 2 quarts of oil from them which filled it back up. I drove straight to their shop and they checked it out and pressure washed engine compartment. They gave me a receipt stating they couldn't find a leak anywhere. I informed them I wasn't about to drive it 15 miles with a loose filter. I left thinking everything was fine. After driving 17 miles in my jeep I noticed I know had a constant drip under engine. I found that behind my water pump was leaking now. I called Lithia and they came and drove my jeep back to their shop and looked it over. When I called them I was informed they don't see how they did anything wrong and it looks like my front end was in a accident. But they will split the cost to put in a new water pump. 600.00 is what they said. Pretty sure if they didn't feel responsible they wouldn't offer to split the cost. I have all receipts from last 90k express lube and not one stating low on coolant.

I get great service every time I come here. The staff are always so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They take the time to explain the particular services and answer my questions so I can make my own informative decisions. I appreciate that their customer service dept is the top of the line quality!

It's been a nightmare dealing with this specific dealership... From the point of sale to just minor repair work. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle here from my experience. The staff seemed friendly enough but just don't seem to do their job. Like most salesmen they usually give you the work around and talk the talk wasn't expecting much else. Gave me some BS lines about the vehicle that a quick Google search seem to contradict about vehicle performance. I will say that I did get on quite the discount for buying last year's model in December as they were trying to clear inventory. My biggest issue comes down to the service center. I went in for a bad door hinge and found out that I also had a recall on the unit for a fuel injector line. Without telling me that they were going start working on it, I waited around for an hour and a half. Only to find out that I had to go to them and ask what was wrong and for them to tell me that they started work on my vehicle. After waiting for 3 hours, they said that they needed to order parts out and then I'll need to come back again the fix it. Which isn't a huge problem but you need to communicate that with the customer. Instead of letting me wait around at the dealership for half my day. Upon returning to supposedly fixed my issue, I found out that my door hinge was not fixed in fact it was worse. So then I had to schedule another appointment for them to fix it. Even on the third visit after wasting 3 work days of mine they still could not fix my issue so now I have to return to them for a fourth time. I don't usually make reviews or posts like this but I felt the need to let others know of my experience because it was so poor. If it was anything else I might have a little bit more sympathy to multiple visits or call backs like engine repair or transmission or clutch work but it's a freaking door hinge and they can't seem to line it up so it closes smoothly. If I can't trust them to work on a hinge properly how can I trust them to handle more serious problems

Just wanted to take a second and give kudos and Thanks to Rob Savage and Lithia for going out of there way to find me a truck. He answered and sent emails on his day off to try and help me out. And although we didn't find one this time ( because I knew what I wanted and it just want available) I look forward to working with you in the future. Thanks again
