What a great experience! We purchased an amazing Caldera spa from Jordan and his team and they went above and beyond from start to delivery. Can't thank them enough, so glad we went to the Axman!

I ordered a baffle fiberboard for our wood-burning insert 2 years ago and did not have an opportunity to open the package until yesterday. Come to find out that it had cracked during shipping and, while the lag time in reporting the incident is long, As proof I sent a copy of the packing slip + photo of the damaged item. I would have paid for a replacement if Axmen had offered free shipping or SOME compensation while recognizing that I'd already paid $90. This was not even considered. They are expensive and, when it comes down to it, NOT customer friendly. Buyers beware....

I have been an Axman fan for over 25 years, but that has been tarnished by the way they have handled our purchase and install of a 5 unit Mitsubishi mini split AC system. The system has been problematic since the beginning. Over the last two seasons, the AC units have leaked water, continue to freeze up the outside compressor, leak refrigerant until the units no longer cools and the outside compressor has been blown over twice because it was not secure. All these issues were fixed by Axman, but the last time we had them out to look at a condensate pump that was only 8 months old and would not shut off. They ended up replacing the unit and charging me $378.08 labor. The condensate pump failed and I was told it took over 4 hours to replace it? I paid over $15,000.00 for this system. A system that has never operated yet without some type of "fix" during the summer. I have no confidence in Axman doing any warrantee or maintenance work on the system. There are good people at Axman, but they got this installation wrong and now I have to clean it up with another installer.

I recently ordered a wood stove from Axmen and encountered many problems including bad advice re installation and a stove model that would not fit my fresh air connection. I had to order a different base kit, wait two weeks for its arrival and then drive 120 miles from my home to the store. When I then installed the stove, it was missing several small parts. I called Axmen again and staff assured me they would order my missing parts. After no action for a month I called to check on the status of my order, but they had no record of my order, and treated this as a very routine situation. I asked them to order the parts and send them to me via UPS. They said they would have to charge me for the shipping . When I suggested it would be a welcome gesture for them to pay the modest cost for shipping I was refused and treated rudely.
