First, it is not handicap accessible. They placed bars everywhere in the bathroom but they are not appropriately placed. The step in shower was a tall tub with a bar. My elderly mother needed help in the bathroom and could not attempt getting into the shower.
I think the worst part of our room was the fact that it was joined to another room, but they took the lock off of the door and shoved a piece of paper in the hole where the lock should be instead of replacing it! They just put a chair in front of the door thinking that would stop someone from trying to get in from the other room! The room had no toilet paper on the role and the tissue paper was completely empty. The bed sheets weren't tucked in and it seemed dirty. The front desk seemed nice and the women who ran breakfast was super nice! I think that is the only positive for this hotel.
Sadly, I agree with previous reviewers. I don't believe in negative reviews, but in a case like this, they are warranted. Do not stay here.
Great location at Price point. Building and rooms showing age. Odor is a bit funky in places. Heat appears to be provided by small space heaters for now. They do appear to be renovating rooms, and staff is always very helpful and friendly.
Was the perfect location for a decent price. Nice clean rooms, although small. Great for a crash pad while enjoying downtown Missoula for a couple days.
The outside is filthy with dirt build up and liquids dried around garbage cans. The building is in ill repair. The pool is closed, covered with just a water cover and should be completely removed for safety. We had two rooms, one smelled awful. Sheets were grey from use, but clean. The bedding needs to be replaced and the cleanliness of blanket/coverings was doubtful. The bathrooms were both clean. The chairs in both rooms were very stained and appeared very dirty. All in all, employees were overworked but doing an excellent job of cleaning what they could. This is the worst kept hotel I have every stayed in, baring one in a village in another country.
Okay, so the only thing this hotel really has going for it is the location. It is within easy walking distance of lots of cool shops, restaurants, and things to do. It does not seem like a very well constructed building though. There was something leaking down the bathroom mirror, there wasn't an outlet by the bed, and there was no clock. The walls are thin enough to distinctly hear the conversations of the people on the other side and their crying baby. I could also see the light from their bathroom through the vent. The pool was out of service and the breakfast was mediocre. Also we were staying two nights and when we came back to our room on the second day we were locked out. They had changed the lock and we had to go get new keys. The parking is very cramped and limited as well. We came back from our concert and it was full so we had to park on the street. For the rate they charge I expected more quality than this. I would definitely not stay here again.
