The restaurant sits right above Rattlesnake Creek and has gorgeous views of the mountains. It's right off of the interstate, which is pretty convenient, but getting into the parking lot is gonna be tricky if you're from out of town. Super friendly staff, homemade soups, great specials ... oh, I forgot to mention that they serve breakfast all day. :)
My mom and I went here for breakfast before heading back home from our vacation. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast meal.
Great view of the river, but parking was tricky.

This restaurant is awesome from the word go
The waitress Minnie was everything you could ask for in a server. The food is top quality and a really great deal.
The food was standard diner fare, done well. Everything was fresh and tasty. Refills were quick. The staff was extremely friendly.
If you come, you better have an appetite, or strong arms to carry out the leftovers.
It is also great if you can get a window seat to watch the river running under your feet.
I'm not exactly sure what people are expecting... it's a diner. That said, it's got some pretty good American diner fare.
I ordered a to-go hot turkey sandwich and had someone bring it to me at work where I could not leave to go get other food. I opened the box to mashed potatoes, gravy, 4 half Texas toast style bread all fancy in there and one, yes one single thin slice of turkey. Not even enough for one 1/2 peace of bread. Not exactly happy when your hungry and order something to find out you got one thin slice of turkey. So what I ended up eating was gravy over bread. The Manager was going to replace my meal after work but I didn't feel like I should have to eat my lunch after work and what get one more slice of turkey with my bread and gravy. No thanks I was hungry at lunch.
