Dr. Ellingson is by far the nicest most helpful person I've dealt with in this field!! I called him about my hairless kitty ear and he sat on the phone with me and talked me through all my concerns. I could not have been more impressed. I was freaking out, calling all the other people and they basically told me they were busy and I would have to make an appointment. I feel so much better to know he is here in Missoula to care for my pets and other people pets. HIGHLY recommend! :)

I thought this emergency care was all about money, and not confronting the issue of what was taking place. My dog was choking and could barely breath and to find out anything was $ 675.00. That was blood work, IV fluid, and x-ray. Then they wanted another $1300.00 to keep him over night which was to much money for us. My husband and I made a choice to bring our dog home with us, he seems to be doing better but not without a price tag of $900.00 dollars. I would recommend if you have endless amount of money sitting around. As far as our experience I felt like it was more about how much they could make off our vulnerable situation.

Excellent staff and service. Very friendly and compassionate. It can be a little expensive but that is to be expected with emergency service. I would highly recommend them.....

In the middle of our move from Michigan to Washington state, we stopped in Missoula over night. When we woke up, one of our cats was showing signs of impaction and distress. We took him in and Dr. Ellington was very kind to us and our cat. He was swift in his care and was conscious of our long distance travels. As far as price goes, you can't expect to be serviced at an emergency vet clinic without a price tag. Honestly, I was expecting worse. Would definitely recommend!

We had a very beloved family cat who had been ill for months. Another vet had treated him with antibiotic shots, steroid injections and tooth surgery. One weekend he got so sick we had to bring him to the emergency clinic. In one afternoon they diagnosed him with inoperable cancer. We opted to put him down and this facility was incredibly gentle with him and very sympathetic to our family. It was so hard knowing he’d had months of pain and surgery for nothing, but we were glad he was finally properly diagnosed and treated so well at the end. This office sent us a condolence card signed by the whole clinic. I strongly recommend them. They really do care.
