I use Interstate Alarm for my business and my house. I'm glad that they are local, I can speak to someone right away without having to go through a maze of robot messages. The office staff is always pleasant when I call.

Great local company with wonderful staff! They offer all the bells and whistles that the large national companies do, and they treat you well. It's nice to call and get an answer from a real person.
This was a very disappointing and expensive mistake. I highly recommend finding a different company for your alarm or security services.
Their technicians are always professional, and very helpful. I once had to call at 2 am because I couldn't figure out how to silence the keypad. I asked to talk to the on call technician, who called me right back. He was not grouchy, even though I had obviously woken him up. He knew exactly what to do to get my keypad silenced & we both got back to sleep in short order.
Then when I moved out of the location after one year, I asked to be released from the agreement because of all the issues I had. They just kept sending collection letters and refusing to give me a fair settlement. Then they hired a local law firm to send threatening letters.
The technician who came out to my house was very professional, I appreciated him taking off his shoes while he was in the house. When he was done, he explained everything to me and even helped setup my iPhone so that I could check on the system while I was gone.
Have always had a good experience when I call their office. Connie is very nice on the phone. They handle the fire alarm at my office and I just found out they do door access control and cameras too! I'll be looking into that for sure.
One of the worst experiences I've had with a local Missoula company. When I first hired Interstate Alarm Company to install the equipment, they had to reschedule 3 times for various reasons...very unprofessional. The contract and billing were confusing from the start, but I was rushed and signed up anyway. The few times I called for customer service related issues I was put off as if not important. They seemed very unorganized and uninterested in helping me. Thankfully I never had a serious security issue. I'm not sure my system was ever connected live to the police station. They never provided information on how to test it.
