The front desk clerks were very kind and helpful in answering our questions, but the owner rejected our application because we had declawed our previous cats (which had been recommended to us from a vet and we discussed thoroughly alternative options with the vet) and we had agreed not to declaw their kitten because he could be outdoors as he got older. The problem was that we spent 1 1/2hr filling out the application and we specifically asked if we would be rejected for this and the desk lady said no because supposedly the manager was supposed to be willing to discuss it with us. WASTE OF OUR TIME and really disheartening because we very excited about our new kitten for us and for our lonely cat!
Well I've had past experience with Animals when I tried to save several cats abandoned in Saint Regis. I was always treated like I was the unfit care giver when I had two grown cats of my own from the State of Maine and was only trying to save Trailer park cats that people would just abandon when they moved. My last experience was a neighbor abandoned there 3 month year old kitten and the kitten use to come over to my trailer Alot to play with my older cat so she knew where to go when her family moved out to another state and left her. I called her Baby girl's and she was all grey and loved playing with her sqeeky bird toy. She was sad loseing her family and would go to the empty Families old empty trailer wondering where they went. I wanted to keep her but I had to move out of state myself and I knew my Knew Landlord only allowed one cat. So I was heart broken and brought her to my vetinerary in Plains Montana and they told me they had a home for her and I said OK cause if not I would take care of her until I could find a Forever home for Baby girl's. They lied to me and gave the kitten to animeals and I just saw on animeals website a picture of baby girls all grey short haired cat now a little over a year old and you could see her tear markings comeing down her sweet face. I am so upset and feel horrible Guilt for thinking that others could find a better home then I could. I would not trust animeals with your cat and Suggest you to go find your own forever homes for the animals you care about. I am far away across country now otherwise I would go get Baby girl's and bring her home. I thought for sure Animeals would be able to find a home for a kitten but obviously NOT. I'm so disappointed and heartbroken for the kitten that trusted me. I thought I was doing the right thing for her.

I was going to adopt two cats for my daughters we picked out two they said one had an application filled out and the other was fine then we filled an application for them to see if we could adopt the one then the next time we came the other cat that "didn't " have an application filled out was gone they lied to us my daughter cried all nigt.
