I don't understand how if a person is trying to better themselves then why is the only time the officers get involved is when they just want put you back in the system.. The adult probation and parole officers here are in fact lacking any kind of fortitude,..
I will from now on treat them just as they have treated me..
I've been on probation for a few years now with the Missoula probation and parole and I have not received any write ups, nor have I been in any trouble..I have asked to be transferred to Oregon because I want to be around family and have better stability..I was told by my probation officer that I needed to go to Oregon and look for employment first, but now won't let me.. He says I need more stability before I go anywhere. I have been in my own apartment for a few years now and have been working as well.. I'm tired of being alone which is the reason I want to be around family and move.. The officers lie to us, constantly.. they don't take the time to sit down and just ask how everything is going. They just wait until you mess up and keep messing up before they involve themselves.. well now it's coming to a point where self sabotage becomes part of the situation..
